Sleds, saucers and tubes are welcome on the fenced hill for winter activities. Many stores in Estes Park offer equipment rentals for visitors who don’t have your own tubes or sleds.
Remember to pack gear for all types of weather (sun, snow, wind) keep in mind that strenuous exercise at high elevations requires that you stay well hydrated and use lots of sunscreen.
Winter visitors to Colorado’s mountains often forget about this winter wonderland of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. It is only a short drive and doesn’t involve going over any mountain passes.
