The
weather in Estes Park is relatively mild due to its location
east of the Continental Divide. The area has often been referred
to as the "Sun Belt of the Rockies". Seasonal sports
such as snow shoeing and cross-country skiing are popular here
due largely to the usually sunny winter weather. Spring brings
an explosion of wildflowers making May thru August a dazzling
display of color. When visitors come in the summer they are
treated to 70-80 degree days, cooler nights, very low humidity
and plenty of sunshine and blue skies.
